1998 - Present Central High School Victoria, VA Educator, Administered education to meet the needs of
grades 9, 10, 11, and 12 according to the Virginia Standards of Learning (S.O.Ls) Implemented Earth Space Science, Biology,
Ecology, Algebra, Math, and G.E.D. Preparation. Reached goals and objectives by assisting the Special Education Department
through the Individualized Education Program (IEP), which focuses on the off setting or reducing the problems resulting from
the childs disability that interfere with learning and educational performances in school.
1998 Department of Conservation and Recreation Richmond, VAPark Interpreter Created, conducted and publicized all
programs and events at Westmoreland State Park. Conducted Public Interviews and performed educational presentations. Assisted
with the task of informing and the control of visitors. Administered educational programs to visitors by offering seminars
on wildlife studies, conducting nature hikes, inviting historical performers. Publication of weekly article in area news paper
(Westmoreland News).
1997 Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University Victoria, VAField Lab Technician§ Assisted the Virginia
Department of Game and Inland Fisheries in a study pertaining to the territorial range, mortality, immigration and emigration
of the American Black Bear (Ursus americana.) Obtained blood, tissue and other samples for research and analysis Immobilized
wild game by the usage of various trapping techniques and immobilization drugs. Utilized aerial and ground telemetry in live
capture of large game animals. Used Global Positioning Systems (G.P.S.) units for location of den and trap sites of bears
Presented sessions, informing the public on information gathered and on prevention techniques.
